CRICUT EXPLORE AND A 21ST BIRTHDAY

Yesterday one if my 8 nephews turned 21! He is a photographer so I thought he really needed something fitting as a birthday card. I made a roll of film as a card and I loved it!

I also made him a shirt, very fitting for a young man turning 21.. I'm extremely pleased that he liked both of them!

Cricut Explore ONE

Everyone knows I LOVE Cricut products.. well guess what?! I recently got grubby little fingers on the brand new Explore  One...

I love this machine. The difference between it and the original Explore or the Explore Air is that there is only one housing. .. which means you have to switch out the blade, pen and scoring stylus. But you know what, it's really not that hard to do. You can also make this one wireless by purchasing the wireless adapter...

This machine is so QUIET. I really can't say enough good about it. I've used it for about a week now and even though I love my original green explore, this one is now my favorite.

I have unfortunately had to school a few people on facebook about it. Everyone thinks they have the best machine, but what they don't realize is they are all the same. They all do the same things. For 199.00 this machine is absolutely hands down the greatest. I've never used that other brand of cutting machines  and quite honestly, I have no desire to!

Mother's Day

So by now we all know that I really really suck at keeping up on my blog, but I have been busy... so that's my excuse.

I've made some Mother's Day items with my Cricut Explore and absolutely love them.

Cricut Explore

www.Cricut.com
This has to be my most favorite thing in life.. I love my Cricut and what it can do.. I will repeat myself over and over about how much I love the Explore, but I also love my Expression too. I have to admit, that paper is making its way back around in my crafty chaotic little world and Pop up Box cards, Exploding Box Cards and 3D crafts just fascinate me. I find myself scouring the web for files to use. so far www.myscrapschick.com is by far my favorite place to get files that are already designed. That way I'm not fussing with figuring out sizing and all that. I just upload the SVG to Design Space and start cutting.

GUESS WHO IS BACK!! That's right.. I thought I'd come back and let yall know what I have been up to. First off let me say that the Cricut bug has me.... bad! I am now on my 6th Cricut.... just keep moving forward...on to bigger and better. I now use the Cricut Explore and let me tell you about this wonderful little machine. You can write, cut, import SVG's... oh my the possibilities are endless! The Design Space software is AMAZING! I have created so many things with this machine, I have actually impressed myself and that isn't easy to do.

this one has to be my absolute fav... a vinyl pic of the Granddaughters that was supposed to be a Christmas present for their mother, but here it is almost Easter and I can't part with it just yet. I'm not good at "blogging", we all know that, but amidst the craziness in my life, I feel some amount of comfort typing out words and crafting... even if its just for myself or if there are complete strangers out there reading this. Anyway.. Im back and will hopefully keep up on this blog now! Happy Crafting! Notorious J*O*D
